Yoga helps us connect with our bodies and find mindfulness though movement which we can use to extend mindfulness in to our every days lives.

We lead yoga classes for beginners and experienced yoga students. We also offer chair based yoga for offices and those less able to stand.

Our focus is on bringing mindfulness to our movements and understanding our bodies rather than aiming for an instagramable pose.

Regularly practicing yoga has many benefits. From increased focus to heightened flexibility, we all benefit differently from yoga. Have a look at the classes I teach to see what works for you.

My Story

I've been practicing mindfulness for over 20 years and started to teach in 2014. I was inspired to start teaching after experiencing the peace and joy that mindfulness brought to my own life. I have worked in healthcare for several year caring for people in their times of pain. I saw how my mindfulness practice benefitted my patients and how the qualities of mindfulness supported patients to cope with pain and suffering.

I was drawn to do my first teacher training in the Mindfulness Based Living Course because of its explicit teachings in compassion and use of short daily practices.

Having worked with busy NHS staff for many years I ensure my classes are rooted in current research to support peak performance and are flexible to fit around busy lives.

All of my teaching is rooted in embodied experience. I am also a qualified yoga teacher.
